Dasha Claire Grace

While most of you were sleeping this morning, we were here nervously working through the "labor" of our court hearing. It is my great pleasure now to introduce to you our new daughter, Dasha Claire Grace. We were speaking yesterday that it would be her last day with her old name and that tomorrow she would get a new name. I'm not sure that she really understands what all that means just yet. She probably doesn't know that she is now my heir and that everything I have is hers along with my other children - that I am now responsible for taking care of her and seeing that she is properly raised. Oh so much to take in.
Thank you God for bringing us to this point. What a long journey it has been. A two year pregnancy? Well sort of.... How we celebrate this day!

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY DASHA CLAIRE! We have been anxiously awaiting this joyful day! I can't wait to see you and get to know you.
Funny story...last night HR went to sleep like he normally dose.(Doses off in daddy's arms then down for the night in his crib). I forgot to put his ear drops in so BD went in to do so, well you guessed it...this began an all night war. We took turns going back & fourth until 2am this morning. As aggrivated and sleeped deprived as I was I took a moment and asked God "what am I supposed to learn from this?" So I came up with this...it gave me an opportunity to pray for you guys and it also made me realize that sometimes you have to just live in the moment. Take time out & actually enjoy the fact that your children need & want you. We must endure alot of hardships in raising our children, but one day we will hopefully see & reap the benefits in which we have sewn.
Gotta go, the warrior has awakened again, this time for the day!

Welcome to the family from another adopted family member. I have always felt that God blessed me when he put the Grace's in my life and I am sure he has blessed you too Dasha Clair.

Congratulations Chris and Gina. Can you believe this has finally happend. Dasha and Kirby look like wonderful sisters together. I know Austin is ready to join his family too. The real journey has just begun. Hope all is well. Call me if you need anything. The Littles are doing great and absolutely love Luba. Congratulations. I have a picture of the 2005 group that came that wonderful summer on my bathroom mirror. Those sweet young faces look back at me and give me hope in the Lord. God's ways are so mysterious to us. Who could have imagined that He would direct so many of us to a simple summer time of just "helping out" to reveal His plans for us. It is not a coincidence that He sent 12 here that summer to make "disciples of all nations" just as He chose His original 12 disciples so has He led these 12 little disciples to glorify Him. Psalm 119:105 says "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path" and so I leave this as a praise prayer for your wonderful news today!

We are so excited and look forward to being with all of you soon. It will be an incredible journey of faith as we watch these children grow into adults and see how God uses their lives. SON, DID NOT KNOW OF COURT DATE UNTIL LATER TODAY. AT 12:30 AM I COULD NOT SLEEP, PRAYED A SHORT PRAYER THAT GODS WILL BE DONE, AND THAT WE ALL BE CLOSE ENOUGH TO GOD TO KNOW HIS WILL.
